INDIANAPOLIS, Dec. 13, 2011 – Chris Brooks of Houston/Team Hilton HHonors (Cypress Gymnastics), and Sam Mikulak of Ann Arbor, Mich./University of Michigan, will represent the United States in men’s gymnastics at the 2012 Olympic Test Event in London, England, Jan. 10-13.

The Olympic Test Event serves as a second qualifying event to the 2012 Olympic Games in London. Team USA has already qualified athletes in men’s and women’s gymnastics and women’s trampoline. For rhythmic gymnastics and men’s trampoline, the USA will be seeking to qualify for the Olympic Games at the Test Event.

Brooks and Mikulak will participate in Mixed Group 6 in Subdivision 3 in the preliminary round, starting on the vault. The top eight men on each apparatus in the preliminary round advance to the individual event finals.

Logan Dooley of Lake Forest, Calif./World Elite Gymnastics, and Steven Gluckstein of Atlantic Highlands, N.J./Ultra Twisters, will represent the United States in men’s trampoline at the 2012 Olympic Test Event. In rhythmic gymnastics, Julie Zetlin of Bethesda, Md./Capital Rhythmics, will represent the USA at the Olympic Test Event.
