2000 Junior National Team Named
St. Louis – Brenann Stacker (Lincolnshire, Ill.) of Illinois Rhythmics won the junior rhythmic all around title with a score of 35.813 this afternoon at Washington University.
“It feels so great to be the national champion,” said Stacker. “I’ve wanted this to happen all my life. There have been a lot of challenges, but today was great and I had a lot of fun.”
Winning the silver and bronze all around medals were Taryn Look (Bloomfield Hills, Mich.) with 35.489 and Jacquelyn Jampolsky (San Rafael, Calif.) with 35.463.
Rhythmic Junior National Team:
The top eight finishers in the junior all-around competition qualified to the 2000 Rhythmic Junior National Team.
