CHIASSO, Switzerland (November 6, 2024) – Fuzzy Benas (Richmond, Texas/University of Oklahoma) placed seventh at the 41st Memorial Arthur Gander Wednesday in Switzerland.
Benas landed seventh after competing on floor exercise (13.850), vault (13.600) and parallel bars (12.200) for a total of 39.550 in the qualifying round. Illia Kovtun of Ukraine topped the podium with a 57.100 followed by Felix Dolci of Canada in second with a 55.850 and Caio Souza of Brazil in third with a 55.400.
With the Memorial Arthur Gander completed, Benas will head over to Zurich on Saturday for the 2024 Swiss Cup.
