INDIANAPOLIS, Ind., Feb. 19, 2010 – "USA Gymnastics: Behind the Team presented by AT&T" begins the 2010 season by taking fans behind the scenes with the 2009 U.S. women’s world team when they recently reunited in New England to celebrate their five-medal performance at the 2009 World Gymnastics Championships in London. " In the coming weeks the eyes of the world begin focusing on the 2012 Olympic Games and the athletes who have already begun preparing for London," said Steve Penny, president of USA Gymnastics. "’Behind the Team’ gives fans an inside look at the gymnasts, both up-and-coming and veterans, who are setting their sights on the next few years ahead. Revisiting the success of the team at the 2009 World Championships is the perfect way to set the stage for the next two-and-a-half years."

2009 world all-around champion Bridget Sloan of Pittsboro, Ind., 2009 world vault champion Kayla Williams of Huntington, W.Va., 2009 world all-around silver-medalist Rebecca Bross of Plano, Texas, and 2009 world balance beam bronze-medalist Ivana Hong of Allen, Texas, travelled to Worcester, Mass., and Hartford, Conn., to answer questions and sign autographs for fans, perform an exhibition, and take in their first hockey game. This episode gives fans insight into the bonds they built during the World Championships, what the girls have been doing since London, and what they hope to accomplish in 2010.
