BIRMINGHAM, Great Britain, March 21, 2018 – Donothan Bailey of Mission Viejo, Calif./U.S. Olympic Training Center, finished in seventh place today at the Birmingham (Great Britain) World Cup today. Tomorrow, Margzetta Frazier of Erial, N.J./Parkettes, competes in the women’s competition. The Birmingham World Cup is the third of four stops in the International Gymnastics Federation’s all-around World Cup series.

Fans in the U.S. can watch the action live online at OlympicChannel.com tomorrow afternoon at 3 p.m. ET. NBCSN (NBC’s Sports Network) and the Olympic Channel are also carrying the event on a live and same-day delay basis on television. The schedule is as follows.

Bailey opened on the pommel horse where he fought to stay on and scored a 13.666. Then, he received a 13.600 on the still rings and 14.333 on vault. He earned scores of 13.866, parallel bars and 12.266, horizontal bar. On the floor exercise in the final rotation, he posted an 11.500, giving him an 79.231 total in the all-around.

Japan’s Shogo Nonomura posted an 84.797 to take the title, just ahead of Russia’s Nikita Nagornyy, who tailed 84.731. Great Britain’s James Hall was the bronze medalist after posting an 83.531 in the all-around.
