PAMPLONA, Spain (November 16, 2025) – Led by a gold medal from Rafi Pikofsky-Christiansen (Silver Spring, Md./Dynamite Gymnastics Center), the American delegation in Spain won five medals Sunday, bringing their World total to seven to conclude the 2025 Trampoline Junior World Championships and World Age Group Competitions.
Junior World Championships
Pikofsky-Christiansen led American performances at the championships, winning the junior men’s World double mini title with a 27.500. Sylus Harper (Farmington, Utah/Flipside Tumbling), after qualifying just behind Pikofsky-Christiansen all the way to the second final, won silver (27.400) to join him on the podium Sunday. Izan Cabrera of host-country Spain was third with a 25.900.
The women’s pair of Grace Danley (Millstone, N.J./Elite Trampoline Academy) and Nora Simmonds (Monroe, N.J./Garden State Trampoline Academy) completed the trifecta of medals won by the juniors in Spain. The Americans won women’s synchronized trampoline bronze with a 45.010 behind France (46.890) and Turkey (45.270).
Several U.S. athletes also made final appearances at the championships, including Andrew Neatrour (Hollidaysburg, Pa./Centre Elite Gymnastics) who finished fourth (22.700) in the men’s tumbling final; Neila Johnson (Draper, Utah/Wasatch Trampoline & Tumbling) who was eighth (23.900) in women’s double mini; Carter Garn (Bluffdale, Utah/Wasatch Trampoline & Tumbling) also eighth (20.700) in men’s tumbling; and Haleigh Smith (Dalton, Ga./Culprit Athletics) eighth (18.500) in women’s tumbling.
World Age Group Competitions
Sydney Rosen (Lincroft, N.J./Elite Trampoline Academy), Mycah Seyler (Flower Mound, Texas/Southlake Gymnastics Academy) and Nate Swanepoel (Phoenix, Ariz./North Valley Gymnastics) each secured silver medals in age-group competition in Pamplona. Rosen and Seyler won the 13-14 women’s synchronized trampoline silver medal with a 46.080, sharing the podium with first-place Georgia (46.380) and the independent athlete duo in third (46.070).
Swanepoel won the second medal and silver of the competition in the 17-21 men’s double mini final, notching second place with a 25.100. Jeremy Meyer of Canada was first (25.200) and River Mallam of Australia third (24.900).
Also competing in the finals were Ethan Gordon (Charleston, Ill./Integrity Athletics), who finished fifth (49.970) in 13-14 men’s individual trampoline; Bentley Zillmer (Fishers, Ind./Carolina Elite Trampoline Academy) who landed just off the podium in fourth (19.900) in the 13-14 men’s double mini final; Chandler Graham (Amarillo, Texas/All American Gymnastics) who ranked fifth (24.600) in 17-21 women’s double mini; Kaysen Maag (Orem, Utah/Utah Valley Trampoline & Tumbling) who placed seventh (25.000) in the 17-21 men’s double mini final; and Sophie Bolos (Farr West, Utah/Northern Star Bounder) and Anya Brooks (Ogden, Utah/Northern Star Bounder) who were fourth (22.000) and sixth (20.800) in 13-14 women’s tumbling.
