PAMPLONA, Spain (November 6, 2025) – On a busy day 2 of qualifying Thursday at the 2025 Trampoline World Championships, 11 U.S. athletes and four teams advanced to the second rounds of qualifications in men’s and women’s individual trampoline, men’s and women’s double mini, and women’s tumbling.
Double Mini
Trevor Harder (Archdale, N.C./Carolina Elite Trampoline Academy) and Kennedi Roberts (North Richland Hills, Texas/Southlake Gymnastics Academy) took the top qualifying spots in double mini trampoline. Harder led the men with a 60.200 to advance to the second round, while Roberts did the same for the women with a 52.900.
Joining Roberts in women’s DMT advancement were Susan Gill (Ladera Ranch, Calif./Eagle Gymnastics Academy), who qualified fourth with a 51.900, and Aliah Raga (Denton, Md./Dynamite Gymnastics), who advanced in ninth with a 50.600. Gill, Raga and Gracie Harder (Archdale, N.C./Carolina Elite Trampoline Academy) topped the women’s team leaderboards, advancing to the final in first position with a 78.900.
Also qualifying for the men were West Fowler (Gulf Breeze, Fla./Panhandle Perfection Gymnastics) in ninth with a 55.600 and Ruben Padilla (Bluffdale, Utah/Wasatch Trampoline & Tumbling) in 22nd with a 51.600. Simon Smith (Springville, Utah/Utah Valley Trampoline & Tumbling) finished 26th with a 48.700 to miss advancement by just two spots. The team of Harder, Fowler, Padilla and Smith were best in team qualifications, ranking No. 1 with a 91.500 to move onto the final.
Trampoline
Padilla also secured his spot in Q2 of men’s individual trampoline competition, sitting 15th overall with a 61.260. Aliaksei Shostak (Lafayette, La./Trampoline and Tumbling Express) qualified 18th with a 61.060, while Ryan Maccagnan (Colorado Springs, Colo./Merino Trampoline Gymnastics Academy) was the third U.S. qualifier in 28th with a 59.620. Elijah Vogel (Longmont, Colo./Xtreme Altitude Gymnastics) was just one spot away from advancing in 29th (59.590) but moved on to the team final in sixth with a combined team score of 181.940.
Sarah Webster (Valley View, Texas/Trampoline and Tumbling Express) will represent the U.S. in the women’s individual trampoline final after qualifying 24th with a 54.320. The women’s team of Webster, Maia Amano (Honolulu, Hawaii/Merino Trampoline Gymnastics Academy), Leah Garafalo (Holmdel, N.J./Elite Trampoline Academy) and Jessica Stevens (Ellicott City, Md./Fairland Gymnastics) finished ninth with a 160.350 and will act as first reserve to the final. Garafalo was 38th in qualifying with a 53.600, while Stevens was 44th with a 52.430.
Tumbling
Tia Taylor (Knoxville, Tenn./Premier Athletics Knoxville), Ashley Matern (Lindon, Utah/Wasatch Trampoline & Tumbling) and the women’s tumbling team were the first to move onto round 2 of qualifying Thursday in Pamplona. Taylor and Matern qualified individually in ninth (48.700) and tenth (48.200), respectively, while the team, including Akela Magee (North Ogden, Utah/Northern Star Bounder) and Ty-LA Morris (Bronx, NY./CAVU Trampoline and Tumbling) qualified fourth to the team final with a 71.600. Morris was 36th in qualifying with a 41.800 and Magee 39th with a 41.600.
Action at the championships continues at 4 a.m. ET on Friday, November 7 with qualifications in men’s, women’s and mixed synchronized trampoline and men’s tumbling. Team final rounds in men’s and women’s tumbling and double mini will follow at 11:30 a.m. ET. The FIG event website will continue to provide live scoring and streaming throughout the event.
