JAKARTA, Indonesia (Oct. 14, 2025) – Ten Americans with nine Worlds medals between them gear up for the 2025 FIG Senior Artistic Gymnastics World Championships October 19-25 in Jakarta, Indonesia. The U.S. delegation of six men and four women will vie for individual medals against a field of nearly 600 athletes hailing from 90 countries.
World Championships veterans and medalists Skye Blakely, Joscelyn Roberson and Leanne Wong are joined by 2025 U.S. balance beam bronze medalist Dulcy Caylor on the U.S. women’s team. Four-time World medalist Wong will look to add onto her individual honors after claiming all-around silver and floor exercise bronze at the 2021 World Championships in Kitakyushu, Japan, and winning team gold in 2022 and 2023.
Both part of the women’s 2023 Worlds team that won gold in Belgium, Blakely and Roberson will aim to claim their first individual medals in Jakarta, while Caylor will look to do the same in her World Championships debut after winning the all-around at the World Championships selection event two weeks ago.
Returning to the championships and hoping to once again stand atop the podium is 2022 horizontal bar World champion and 2024 Olympic team bronze medalist Brody Malone, while fellow Olympic medalist Asher Hong seeks his first individual World medal to add to his 2023 World team bronze. Two-time medalist Donnell Whittenburg brings history-making experience to the delegation as he becomes the first American man to appear in six artistic World Championships. The 31-year-old already owns two World bronze medals – 2015 vault and 2014 team.
Rounding out the lineup and competing in their first World Championships are Brandon Dang and two-time NCAA pommel horse champion Patrick Hoopes, who have each secured World Cup medals on pommel horse, and 2025 U.S. floor exercise and vault silver medalist and 2025 NCAA vault champion Kameron Nelson.

The top 24 gymnasts, limited to two per country, will advance to the men’s and women’s all-around finals. For apparatus finals, the top eight gymnasts, also limited to two athletes per country, will move onto each event’s final round.
