ASUNCIÓN, Paraguay (August 21, 2025) – American juniors Charleigh Bullock (Spotsylvania, Va./Capital Gymnastics National Training Center), Addalye VanGrinsven (Champlin, Minn./Pacific Reign Gymnastics), Jason Hao (Clarksville, Md./Capital Gymnastics National Training Center) and Miles Nixon (Simi Valley, Calif./Gymnastics Olympica USA) all claimed apparatus medals Thursday at the 2025 Junior Pan American Games.

Bullock and VanGrinsven were both golden on the first day of apparatus finals, with Bullock winning gold on uneven bars (14.000) and VanGrinsven taking the vault title (13.483; 13.733, 13.233) in women’s competition. VanGrinsven also was fourth in the bars final with a 12.033.

Hao secured one of two medals on the men’s side, earning pommel horse bronze with a 12.100 just behind Pedro de jesus Silvestre of Brazil in first (12.266) and Chile’s Matias Martinez Jara in second (12.200). He also placed eighth (11.933) in the men’s floor exercise final. Nixon won the second men’s medal, claiming still rings bronze with a 12.033. He was third behind winner Lorenza Zaragoza Riveira of Mexico (12.600) and Puerto Rico’s Jensuel Soto Rodriguez in second (12.566).

Also competing Thursday was Lavi Crain (Blue Springs, Mo./Great American Gymnastics Express), who was seventh on vault (12.333; 12.300, 12.366); William McCrea (Chicago, Ill./Lakeshore Academy of Art Gymnastics), who placed fifth (11.933) in the rings final and eighth (11.966) in the men’s floor final; and Dominick Camarena (Georgetown, Texas/Houston Gymnastics Academy) who finished fourth in the pommel horse final with a 11.866 in a three-way tie with Colombia’s Thomas Mejia Cartagena and Juan Duenas Carmona of Mexico.

The 2025 Junior Pan American Games conclude Friday, August 22 with all remaining apparatus finals beginning at 3 p.m. ET. Finals will stream live on the Panam Sports Channel and Panam Sports YouTube channel and results are available here.
