CAROLINA, Puerto Rico (November 14, 2025) – Americans kicked off competition in Puerto Rico on top, sailing through the first day of qualifying across all divisions at the 2025 Acro Pan American Championships in Carolina.

Among the seniors, the women’s pair of Sydney Padios (Moreno Valley, Calif./Incentive – AGT,) and Willow Noble (Moreno Valley, Calif./Incentive – AGT,) and the men’s pair of Yaroslav and Vsevolod Ossolodkov (Beaumont, Calif./Incentive – AGT) both led on Day 1. Padios and Noble scored a 26.830 with their dynamic routine to qualify first in women’s competition ahead of Canada (24.680), while the Ossolodkov’s did the same for the men with a 28.160.

In the 13-19 division, Sophia Robertson (Riverside, Calif./Realis Gymnastics Academy) and Isabella Brookins (Sacramento, Calif./Realis Gymnastics Academy/Rodina Elite) were first in women’ pair balance qualifying with a 23.050. The U.S. also went 1-2 in 13-19 women’s group balance qualifications, with Juli Williams (Columbia, Md./Emilia’s Acro Gymnastics and Cheer), Carmelle Djoumgoue (Jessup, Md./Emilia’s Acro Gymnastics and Cheer) and Aubrie Cunningham (Ellicott City, Md./Emilia’s Acro Gymnastics and Cheer) finishing first (27.400) and Roni Azerrad (Rockville, Md./Xtreme Acro), Layla DeVaul (Rockville, Md./Xtreme Acro) and Ayden Rawls-Blodgett (Columbia, Md./Xtreme Acro) second (26.500) ahead of Canada in third (25.880).

Alina Rizvanova (Sacramento, Calif./Rodina Elite Gymnastics Academy) and Violet Froste (Sacramento, Calif./Rodina Elite Gymnastics Academy) were top qualifiers in the 12-18 division, scoring a 26.500 in women’s pair balance to advance. They were followed by fellow Americans Elise Maher (Eureka, Mo./Show Me Acro) and Gracie Deters (Catawissa, Mo./Show Me Acro) in second with a 25.300. Puerto Rico was third with a 23.730. In the women’s group division, the trio of Olivia Irreno (Potomac, Md./Xtreme Acro), Danica Weinstein (Potomac, Md./Xtreme Acro) and Keira Ackley (Gaithersburg, Md./Xtreme Acro) beat out three Canadian groups for the No.1 spot in dynamic qualifying with a 26.810.

Friday held balance qualifying for 11-16 women’s pairs in Puerto Rico, where Alora McCastle (Harvey, La./Superior Acro and Cheer Sports) and Maci Mills (Gretna, La./Superior Acro and Cheer Sports) qualified second with a 26.450, and the pair of Kelly Gillum (Poway, Calif./So Cal TTC) and Cecilia Hiemcke (Escondido, Calif./So Cal TTC) second with a 25.100. The pair from Canada was first with a 26.500.

11-16 women’s groups competed their dynamic routines and saw Ella Azerrad (Rockville, Md./Xtreme Acro), Kyra Veiga (Brookeville, Md./Xtreme Acro) and Berlin Morgan (Derwood, Md./Xtreme Acro) qualify second with a score of 26.350, followed by Alexia Irreno (Potomac, Md./Xtreme Acro), Zoe DeShields (Rockville, Md./Xtreme Acro) and Miah Collazo (Great Falls, Va./Xtreme Acro) in third (26.300). Canada qualified first with a 26.400.
