U.S. Olympic hopefuls Alicia Sacramone of Winchester, Mass., and Morgan Hamm of Waukesha, Wis., participated in activities on Wednesday, April 30, to celebrate the 100-day mark from the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, China.

Sacramone appeared on the Today Show and modeled U.S. Olympic Team apparel along with rower Giuseppe Lanzone and BMX athletes Kyle Bennett, Donny Robinson and Arielle Martin. Sacramone wore an outfit from Polo Ralph Lauren’s village wear collection.

Hamm joined author/illustrator Todd Parr at the Hilton New York in New York City to read a new children’s book, be hospitable: A World United Edition, to children from a local elementary school. The book is inspired by the Olympic ideals and includes messages of teamwork, graciousness and multiculturalism, and teaches kids to accept others’ differences.
