INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (November 4, 2025) – USA Gymnastics on Tuesday announced Alexander Renkert as its U.S. Trampoline & Tumbling Program Director, beginning January 6. In the role, Renkert will oversee all aspects of the USA Gymnastics T&T Program.
One of the most internationally successful American T&T athletes in history, Renkert is a nine-time World Championships team member, eight-time World Championships medalist and three-time U.S. champion. He has been equally impactful outside of the competitive arena, serving on the USA Gymnastics’ Athletes’ Council since 2018, becoming chair in 2025.
“We could not be more excited to have Alex stepping into the T&T Program Director role,” USA Gymnastics Chief Program Officer Stefanie Korepin said. “With his experience as an athlete, administrator and athlete advocate, his depth of knowledge covers every area of trampoline & tumbling.”
Renkert is an experienced T&T judge and coach, and he has served the sport more broadly as a member of many USA Gymnastics committees, including Safety & Response, various Trampoline & Tumbling Program Committees, the Parkour Selection Committee, and State and Regional committees.
As the T&T Program Director, Renkert’s duties will include managing the administration and operations of the trampoline & tumbling program, managing staff related to the program and National Team, ensuring implementation of selection procedures for major international competitions, and overseeing all grassroots activities within the program, including the T&T Development Program.

Previously the Director of Marketing and Social Media at Integrity Athletics, Renkert holds a degree in sport management, business, and Spanish from Indiana University – Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI).
USA Gymnastics athletes compete this Wednesday through Sunday, Nov. 5-9, at the FIG Trampoline & Tumbling World Championships in Pamplona, Spain, where they will look to build on a record-breaking performance in the most recent World Championships. In 2023, the U.S. took its first-ever team gold medal as part of a 10-medal performance at the World Championships.
