AROSA, Switzerland (July 2, 2022) – U.S. trampolinists Nicole Ahsinger (Lafayette, La./Trampoline and Tumbling Express) and Sarah Webster (Lafayette, La./Trampoline and Tumbling Express) captured the gold medal in synchronized trampoline Saturday as the FIG World Cup 51st Nissen Cup came to a close at the Sports and Conference Centre Arosa. With the victory, the pair also sealed the 2022 FIG World Cup Series synchro championship.

The duo delivered a 47.850 to claim the top spot in the women’s division, while Cody Gesuelli (Hunstville, Ala./Merino Trampoline Gymnastics Academy) and Elijah Vogel (Longmont, Colo./Elevated Trampoline Sport Academy) were seventh on the men’s side with a 47.820. Japan’s Daiki Kishi and Ryosuke Sakai led the way with a 52.850.

Earlier in the day, Jessica Stevens (Ellicott City, Md./Fairland Gymnastics) notched a 54.090 during the second round of women’s individual trampoline qualifications to secure her spot in the eight-person final. She finished seventh with a 50.805. Great Britain’s Page Bryony topped the podium with a 57.095. Webster and Maia Amano (Honolulu, Hawaii/Fairland Gymnastics) were 10th and 12th, respectively, in second-round qualifications behind scores of 53.130 and 52.655.

Isaac Rowley (Allen, Texas/Eagle Gymnastics Academy) finished 14th in men’s individual trampoline with a 12.205 after his routine during the second round of qualifications was cut short.
