Livermore, California, January 15th, 2020 – Today the Acrobatic Gymnastics Foundation (AGF) announced that it will be awarding $20,000 in grants for the 2020 competition season. The grant program was established by the AGF in 2016 to provide financial support to qualifying U.S. acrobatic gymnasts. This is the fifth year of the AGF’s commitment to the success of acrobatic gymnasts through needs-based financial assistance. Former acrobatic gymnastics World Champion and AGF founder Kristin Allen commented, “I am so proud that our organization will be able to give more funding in 2020 than ever before thanks to the hard work of the AGF team and the generosity of our community.” Since 2016, the AGF has awarded $45,000 to athletes ranging from Level 6 through Senior Elite to help fund regular training, competition wear, travel expenses, etc. for the athletes who need it the most.
