December 6-7, 2014 – Acrobatic gymnasts from the USA competed in the Breda Open Acrobatics Cup in Breda, Netherlands. They were joined by acrobats from Finland, Great Britain, Switzerland, Germany, Uzbekistan, Belgium, Lithuania, and Wales. The gymnastics competing were levels 7 through elite.
Analiese Feuerstein and Janelle Setina, 11-16 age group USA national team members from Ccoast Acrobatics of San Luis Obispo, Calif., earned 1st place for dynamic, balance and all-around.
Two 11-16 Trios from Emilia’s Acrobatics, Gymnastics and Cheerleading (EAGC) out of Colombia, Maryland represented the USA as well. Lauren Pountnay, Caitlyn Kicza, and Anna Grafov earned 2nd place for balance, and 5th overall. Elanor Chang, Abigail Disman and Melanie Vaughn earned 1st place for dynamic, a 3rd place for balance and 2nd overall. Both trios now compete at the Junior Elite level.
