Team champions were crowned at the 2026 Acrobatics and Tumbling Development Program National Championships in La Puente, California, while Baylor University secured their 11th NCATA championship title over the weekend.

Winning titles during the USAG championship were Zero Gravity Gymnastics (Level 5, 223.065; Level 2, 52.000), Power Athletics Acro & Tumbling (Level 4, 220.575; Level 3, 178.035), and Crystal Coast (Level 1, 44.250). Titles were also awarded for Event Finals.

More than 200 athletes participated in an exhibition at Azua Pacific University during the 2026 NCATA National Championships. The NCATA features Acrobatic and Tumbling as an emerging NCAA sport for collegiate female athletes. Baylor University won their 11th title in Azusa with 271.835 ahead of runners-up Quinnipiac University (266.265) in the championship round.

The NCATA has continued to grow the sport and will now be recognized with a National Collegiate Championship for all three divisions. The inaugural event will take place in spring 2027.
