WISCONSIN DELLS, Wis. (June 1, 2022) – The USA Gymnastics Rhythmic Development Program National Championships kick off today at the Woodside Wisconsin Dells Center Dome. The five-day event serves as the culmination of the competitive season for Level 6, 7 and 8 rhythmic gymnasts in the U.S., as well as beginner, intermediate and advanced Development Program groups.

Individual competitors qualified to the event based on performances at regional championships earlier in the season. Level 6 gymnasts and participating groups will show all apparatus in a single day, while Level 7 and 8 athletes will split the competition across two days.

Level 6 athletes hit the floor Wednesday and Thursday with groups to follow Friday. The Level 7 and 8 divisions will compete over the weekend.

Level 7 and 8 regional team champions will be crowned, as will a combined overall champion.
