The 2018 Future Star & Young Squad Camp in Lake Placid, N.Y. just concluded! This year we held the two camps back to back and it was a huge success.

38 gymnasts from all over the US attended the three-day Future Star Camp, followed by 20 gymnasts participating in the 3 day Young Squad Camp. The camp was led and taught by Brooke Toohey, The Future Star Coordinator. She was joined by Galina Burns from Florida who brought again her positive energy and wonderful skills to the lead the gymnasts each day at both camps. Bibi Iontchev from Los Angeles was also back again this year at the Future Star camp teaching dance and equipment technique. Anastasiya Ivankova lended her expertise at the Young Squad teaching the gymnasts each day the importance of great basics of the equipment. Last but not least, Alex Anatska from New York, taught ballet again at both camps pushing the girls to strengthen their ballet skills.

The Future Star & Young Squad Programs continue to be a wonderful, well attended camps that inspire coaches and gymnasts, while reinforcing the importance of good quality basics of the body and equipment. We cannot be happier with the progress we make each year and we are excited to see these gymnasts continue to grow and love the sport.
