SAN JOSE, Calif., June 29, 2012 — Logan Dooley of Lake Forest, Calif./World Elite Gymnastics, and Dakota Earnest of Plains, Texas/Acrospirits, were named as the men’s and women’s trampoline alternates for the 2012 Olympic Team, pending approval by the U.S. Olympic Committee Board of Directors.

Steven Gluckstein of Atlantic Heights, N.J./ETA Gymnastics, and Savannah Vinsant of Lafayette, La./Trampoline and Tumbling Express, earned the men’s and women’s Olympic roster spots after winning the U.S. title at the 2012 USA Gymnastics Trampoline Championships at the San Jose (Calif.) Convention Center. The pair earned the most points in the 2012 Olympic Games Standings, which ranked athletes based on scores at the Elite Challenge, Stars & Stripes Cup and U.S. Championships.

Dooley served as the alternate to Chris Estrada at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, and this will be Earnest’s first Olympics.

Both athletes will travel with the Olympic Team to London.
