HOUSTON, Texas, March 2, 2011 – 2010 U.S. trampoline champion Steven Gluckstein of Atlantic Highlands, N.J., 2010 Pan American Cup trampoline champion Logan Dooley of Lake Forest, Calif., and 2010 U.S. trampoline champion Alaina Williams of Norman, Okla., are among the more than 140 athletes who will compete in the 2011 Winter Classic, March 5-6, at Houston’s George Brown Convention Center. This year’s Winter Classic is being held in conjunction with the Houston Invitational.
Competition will be held in trampoline, tumbling, double mini-trampoline and synchronized trampoline. Elite athletes have the opportunity to earn points toward national team selection and to qualify for this year’s national championships.
The competition schedule for the Winter Classic has elite preliminaries for four events beginning at 11 a.m. on March 5, and the finals begin at 11 a.m. on March 6.
