INDIANAPOLIS, Ind., June 8, 2007 – Approximately 140 rhythmic gymnasts are expected to compete at the 2007 Rhythmic Junior Olympic National Championships, June 8-10, at Hilliard Darby High School in Hilliard, Ohio. The event features competition in Levels 6-8 in regional team, all-around and individual events.

The event opens on June 8 at 12:15 p.m. with Level 6 competition. Level 7 competition in the floor exercise and rope begins at 9:45 a.m. on June 9, followed by Level 8 at 2:15 p.m. The 2007 Rhythmic Junior Olympic National Championships conclude on June 10 with Level 7 competition in hoop and clubs at 9:10 a.m., and Level 8 competition in ball and ribbon at 1:30 p.m.

Trophies will be awarded to the top three regional teams. The top eight all-around gymnasts and the top eight individual event winners for each level will receive medals.
