Two-Time U.S. National Champion Jessica Howard Scheduled to Compete

Indianapolis – Two-time U.S. National Champion Jessica Howard (Jacksonville, Fla.) and reigning junior national champion Brenann Stacker (Lincolnshire, Ill.), headline the competition at the 2001 Rhythmic Eastern, July 21-22, at Central Connecticut State University in New Britain, Conn.

The Rhythmic Eastern serves as a qualification event and preview for the upcoming U.S. Gymnastics Championships, August 8-11 in Philadelphia. Combined results from the Rhythmic Western that took place July 7-8, and the Eastern determines the twenty seniors and juniors who advance to the U.S. Gymnastics Championships.
The U.S. Gymnastics Championships is the qualification event for the 2001 World Championships. Three rhythmic gymnasts will represent the United States at the World Championships, October 17-21 in Madrid, Spain.

  2:30-6:00 p.m. – Senior Competition

Sunday, July 22

  9:30-1:00 p.m. – Junior Competition
  2:00-5:30 p.m. – Senior Competition
