INDIANAPOLIS (September 27, 2022) – Individual World medalists Kaden Brown (Herriman, Utah/Wasatch Trampoline & Tumbling), Shelby Nobuhara (Mapleton, Utah/High Altitude) and Ruben Padilla (Bluffdale, Utah/Wasatch Trampoline & Tumbling) and Olympians Nicole Ahsinger (Lafayette, La./Trampoline and Tumbling Express) and Aliaksei Shostak (Youngsville, La./Trampoline and Tumbling Express) will headline the U.S. contingent to the T&T World Championships November 16-19 in Sofia, Bulgaria.

The American delegation is comprised of 16 veterans, including 14 World Championships and World Cup medalists, and six first-time competitors, three of whom have previously medaled on the world stage. In 2021, U.S. gymnasts collected their second-straight team all-around silver medal and women’s team double mini title. Nobuhara earned silver in women’s individual double mini – her first World medal – while Brown pocketed his second men’s individual tumbling bronze medal and Padilla added a bronze in men’s individual double mini to a growing collection that includes a pair of individual silver medals from 2018 and 2019. Brown also captured The World Games men’s tumbling title earlier this year.

U.S. athletes will look to build on summer success on the 2022 World Cup circuit as they eye an appearance on the sport’s largest stage. In July, Ahsinger and partner Sarah Webster (Lafayette, La./Trampoline and Tumbling Express) locked up the FIG World Cup Series women’s synchronized trampoline championship with a victory at the Nissen World Cup. The pair notched silver at the AERE World Cup in May where Webster also topped the women’s individual trampoline field. That same weekend, Miah Bruns (Crete, Ill./World Champions Centre) earned gold in women’s tumbling, Tomas Minc (Chevy Chase, Md./Dynamite Gymnastics) and Tasha Williams (East Peoria, Ill./Jon Williams Fondulac Flyers) took silver in men’s double mini and women’s tumbling, respectively, and Nobuhara picked up bronze in women’s double mini.
