Question: Can I be a judge if I have never taken gymnastics? Where do I go to get trained? |
|
Yes. Contact your local gym and find a local judge who would know where to begin. Most states have a USA Gymnastics judging director that coordinates training of new recruits. National Association of Women s Gymnastics Judges, NAWGJ, is the national organization that you will become part of. The website you want to visit is http://www.nawgj.org/ For other disciplines please contact the coordinator of the one you are interested by going to usagym.org and clicking on the links of the discipline in the top menu. |
