Yes. In order to become a meet director, an individual must become a professional member with USA Gymnastics, which includes a membership fee, pass a background check through NCSI and successfully pass U101 Safety and Risk Management course. Click here to learn about how to become a professional member.
Upon receiving their active membership, the individual can take the W202 Meet Director Course. Upon successful completion of the course, they can act as meet director in a USA Gymnastics sanctioned event. |
