INDIANAPOLIS, Feb. 21, 2012 – Reigning U.S. trampoline champions Jeffrey Gluckstein of Atlantic Highlands, N.J./ETA Ultra Twisters, and Savannah Vinsant of Lafayette, La./Trampoline and Tumbling Express, are among 350 athletes expected to compete at the 2012 Winter Classic at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Fla., Feb. 24-26. The field includes athletes from the United States, Argentina, Canada, Bulgaria, Mexico, Poland and Puerto Rico. This year's Winter Classic is being held in conjunction with the Gasparilla Classic, which features more than 2,700 athletes competing in artistic gymnastics.

Vinsant, along with Neil Gulati of Irvine, Calif./World Elite Gymnastics, who is also expected to compete in St. Petersburg, were named to the U.S. team for the 2012 Kellogg's Pacific Rim Championships, which begin March 16.

Competition will be held in trampoline, tumbling, double mini-trampoline and synchronized trampoline. Elite athletes have the opportunity to qualify for this year's national championships and to fine-tune their competitive routines as they begin their road to the 2012 Olympic Games in London.

The competition schedule for the Winter Classic has elite preliminaries beginning at 1 p.m. on Feb. 24 with competition in junior men's synchronized trampoline.
