The Trampoline and Tumbling Nomination bios/resumes for the TT J.O. Program Committee Chair and Members and TT Technical Committee Chair and Members are now available.
Voting for the Chairs will begin once ballots have been posted online. Deadline for submission will be 30 days from when ballots are posted online.
Voting for the Committee Members will be by mail to all T & T Clubs. Ballots may be returned via mail or fax by June 11th 2011.
|NAME: Jill Milroy
POSITION: J.O. Program Chair
Jill Milroy is currently the Executive Director of the YMCA in Kewanee, Illinois. She has coached "Flip-Tops," the Y's tumbling and trampoline team since the 1980's. In addition to coaching numerous Junior Olympic medalists, she continues to excel in her program and involvement in the sport.
Jill has served USA Gymnastics as the Illinois state chair and the Region 4 coaching representative. She has been named the team leader for several international competitions, staging director for the Junior Olympic Nationals and is the current Junior Olympic Program Committee Chair.
She is actively involved and enjoys creating an impact on the program.
|NAME: Mary Swafford
POSITION: J.O. Committee Member- Double Mini
Mary Swafford is currently the head coach for Kansas City Trampoline and Tumbling. She has been involved in the sport since 1975, when she began competing. As an athlete, Mary won the National Junior Olympics as well as Junior Nationals. She competed in the World Age Group Games and completed her career as a senior elite finalist at the Senior National Championships.
Mary is a level 4 coach with athletes from Kansas City Trampoline and Tumbling participating at every level including USA team and World Championship events. Along with her coaching credentials, she is an FIG Brevet judge. Most recently she served as a judge on the double mini panel at the 2010 World Age Group Championships held in Metz, France.
Mary has been a clinician and staff member of the annual USA Gymnastics Scholarship Camp since its inception. She is a leader level judge who certifies judges for USA Gymnastics Trampoline and Tumbling. She served as interim Region 4 Chair and has been on several committees with USA Trampoline and Tumbling and USA Gymnastics Trampoline and Tumbling. She is actively involved and enjoys creating an impact on the program.
|NAME: Christine LaFollette
POSITION: JO Committee Member - Tumbling
Christine Lafollette is currently the coach and owner of Tumbling Express in Washington, Indiana. She is also an active member on the JumpStart Committee, Region 4 Chair and a Cat Judge. She has been a coach for many for many years and has had the opportunity to coach Level 1 through Elite athletes. She has also coached athletes who have been members of the Senior and Junior National Teams and World Age Group Teams.
Christine is currently a Level 1 coaches course administrator, a Level 2 Tumbling and Trampoline coach and a Category 1 judge for Tumbling and Double-Mini.
She enjoys being a involved in the sport and is certified in many areas within USA Gymnastics and the Trampoline and Tumbling as a sport.
|NAME: Mig O'Hara
POSITION: J.O. Program Committee – Tumbling
Mig O'Hara is the owner and head coach of Legacy T&T in Reno, Nevada. Since she started her club, she has worked hard to develop both a strong Junior Olympic program and an Elite program. She has had numerous athletes on the Jump Start National Team, the ODP (Olympic Development Program) Team, and currently has two athletes on the Senior National Team.
She has served as a member of the Jump Start Committee, the Tumbling Task Force, and is currently a member of the JO Committee and the Olympic Development Program Committee. She believes that there is a tremendous amount of knowledge and experience throughout the T&T Community. Working together and communicating is the best way to use these resources to ensure success for our athletes and the future of our sport.
|NAME: Konstantin Gulisashvili
POSITION: J.O. Program Committee Member – Trampoline
Konstantin Gulisashvili is currently the head coach and program director of Fairland Trampoline and Tumbling in Laurel Maryland. He has been an avid contributor to the sport and was a member of the Jr. National Team in 1992 with the Republic of Georgia.
Konstantin has had the ability to add to his coaching credentials which include; coaching the ODP team members during the 2010 – 2011 season, and also to coach some WAGC team members in 2003, 2009 and 2010. He also served as a coach for the World Age Group Championships in Metz, France in 2010.
He has been involved in judging many different events since 1997. He has been a judge for the World Cup in Krasnodar, Russia and Greensboro, North Carolina. He was also a member of the judging panel for the 2010 Loule Cup in Faro, Portugal, 2007 World Cup in Lake Placid, New York, 2004 Pan American Championships, 2003 World Age Group Championships in Hanover and is also currently an FIG Trampoline judge. Recently, in 2010 he was able to participate as a clinician at the Region 7 women's gymnastics clinic in Woodward, PA.
|NAME: Peter Dodd
POSITION: J.O. Committee Member -Trampoline
Peter Dodd is currently the owner of World Elite Gymnastics in California. As an athlete he was a six time member of the Senior National Team and a World Cup Finalist. He has had the ability to coach many National Team Members.
He has been the head coach for the World Age Groups for the last two years and has enjoyed being a part of the J.O. Program Committee.
|NAME: Patti Conner
POSITION: Technical Committee Chair
Patti Conner is the Preschool Director and team coach of the Future Stars competitive program for Ready Set Go/Air Extreme in Lubbock, Texas. She has been involved in Trampoline and Tumbling for 25 years as a parent, judge, gym owner and coach. As a previous gym owner and head coach she understands the importance of creating a positive atmosphere for both children and coaches.
Patti currently serves as the National Technical Chair on the USA Gymnastics Trampoline and Tumbling Program Committee, and also as the Regional Director for Region 3. She has earned her International Brevet Judges rating in Trampoline, Tumbling and Double Mini Trampoline.
Patti is a member of the National Safety Instructors for USA Gymnastics and serves the Trampoline and Tumbling program as an instructor for both judges and the level one coaches certification courses.
|NAME: Betsy Dammeier
POSITION: Technical Committee Member - Tumbling
Betsy Dammeier is currently a second grade teacher in a school in Indianapolis. She recently completed her Masters' Degree in Educational Leadership Administration. She has also been the athlete representative since 2001.
Betsy has been involved in the sport for many years now. As an athlete, she competed and received medals in the Indo Pacific Games in Durban South Africa, the World Age Group Games in Sydney, Australia and in 1998; she competed and medaled at the World Championships in Sydney, Australia. She was also a Senior National team member in 2000.
Betsy has had the opportunity to continue judging throughout her career. She is currently a Leader Level Judge and has been since 2001. She serves as the Indiana Technical Representative, Region 4 Technical Representative and as a Technical Committee Member with USA Gymnastics Trampoline and Tumbling.
|NAME: Mary Lynn Pottorff
POSITION: Technical Committee Member- Double Mini
Mary Lynn Pottorff is currently part of the technical Committee. She has been a gym owner with DynaMite Trampoline and Tumbling in Crown Point, Indiana for 10 years. She has had the opportunity to be a coach for 12 years of her career.
Mary Lynn is active within the sport of Double Mini and Tumbling where she has been a Level 1 Judge for the past 12 years, she has also been a Leader Level Judge for about 10 years. She has been part of the program committee by being the Region 4 Chair and Indiana State Chair for the past 7 years. She has also had the opportunity to be the Double Mini technical representative for the past 6 years.
She has impacted the program and had the ability to win the USA Gymnastics Trampoline and Tumbling Service Award.
|NAME: Tatiana Kovaleva
POSITION: Technical Committee -Trampoline
Tatiana is originally from St. Petersburg, Russia where she competed for the Russian National Team from 1992 to 1999. She won the Individual Women's gold medal at World Championships in Vancouver, Canada in 1996. She also was a member of the gold medal Russian women's teams in 1996, 1998, and 1999. In 1999, she retired from competition and moved to New Jersey to become a coach.
In her ten years as a coach in the USA, her athletes have earned 45 US National Championship gold medals. She has had nine junior or senior national team members and is a member of the US national coaching staff. She coaches two-time and current US champion, Steven Gluckstein who is currently ranked number one in the world for synchronized trampoline. In 2010, seven members of her UltraTwisters team were named to the US national team.
Tatiana is also a category 2 FIG judge and sits on the National Technical Committee and Olympic Developmental Program Committee. She is the NJ State Trampoline Chair and on the Region IV Board as the coaching representative. She was named Elite Coach of the Year in 2005, 2007, 2009, and 2010, and in 2010, was inducted into the World Acrobatic Society Hall of Fame.
Tatiana also holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the Academy of Physical Education in St. Petersburg, Russia.
|NAME: Deanna Hanford
POSITION: Technical Committee Member – Trampoline
Deanna Hanford has been an active participant in the Trampoline and Tumbling program since the mid 1990's. She currently holds an FIG Brevet rating in Trampoline, Tumbling and Double Mini. She is also currently the Region 2 Technical Chair, the Southern California Technical Chair and the President of the San Diego County Women's Gymnastics Officials Association.
Deanna has had the opportunity in developing judges' tests, USA Gymnastics Trampoline and Tumbling Code of Points and other supplemental materials for the program. She is an active member in the Southern California Communication where she has designed and maintained the current website for the Southern California, Northern California and Region 2 Trampoline and Tumbling Associations. She has also created an impact on the Rules and Policies for the So Cal Association.
Deanna earned her PhD in Biology from University of California, San Diego and has enjoyed her stints with the USA Gymnastics Trampoline and Tumbling National Technical Committee, being a Leader Level Judge, an active member with NAWGJ where she has a National rating in Women's Gymnastics.
