Thanks for your service, Kathy!
On behalf of USA Gymnastics, I would like to thank Kathy Feldmann for her outstanding commitment and service to the sport of gymnastics and our organization. Kathy has been a part of our USA Gymnastics family since 1975 and has served as an educator, judge, coach, club owner, and administrator. As a result, she has brought an incredible level of knowledge and experience to her role as Vice President of Member Services. The National Trade Show and Congress has grown significantly under her guidance and educational opportunities for USA Gymnastics members have expanded. During her tenure, the Member Services Division has provided a high level of customer service and Kathy has provided important leadership in a variety of areas.
Kathy's contributions have benefited the sport of gymnastics and the organization. She will officially retire on December 31, 2010.
Please join me in wishing Kathy and her husband Gordy all the best as they begin their next adventure together.

Preschool Fundamentals Course
The Preschool Fundamentals Course has two parts. The Part 1 online course focuses Child development theory in the context of gymnastics movement education. Part 1 is not required prior to Part 2, but is highly recommended. Part 2 is a great hands on follow-up to the theory course, with course instructors demonstrating practical examples of many of the concepts taught in Part 1.
Interested in hosting an educational course at your gym? For more information on hosting a workshop at your club, contact the Educational Services Division or contact a National Instructor in your area.
Below is information you will need to know as a potential host club:
- Your gym will receive one complimentary registration for each workshop you host, with a minimum of 10 paid participants. If you are a Member Club, you will receive two complimentary registrations.
- USA Gymnastics must receive at least a minimum of 8 paid registrations in order to conduct the Preschool Fundamentals Hands-on-Training Course. We need your help in promoting the course.
- Please make sure that the lecture area is away from loud noises or distractions!
- You will be responsible for transporting the instructor to and from the airport, hotel and workshop, if necessary.
- All attendees must pre-register with USA Gymnastics at least two weeks prior to the workshop, including those participants who might get complimentary registrations. Just send in their registration with "Free for Host Gym" written in the payment section. Minimum age is 15.

- Ensure you are providing appropriate instruction regarding preschool gymnastics and movement education

As a reminder, the Member Services Online Registration system will be available and accessible throughout the office closure. Should you need to check membership status, print club rosters, register/renew memberships, register a sanctioned event, or register and complete educational courses you will be able to do so online.
Please note: credit card transactions placed online will not officially post until 24-72 business hours after the office re-opens. So don't forget to print your receipt should you need to provide proof of payment to a meet director.
