INDIANAPOLIS, Jan. 18, 2013 – 2012 Olympic all-around gold medalist Gabrielle Douglas of Virginia Beach, Va./Chow's Gymnastics and Dance, and 2012 Olympic all-around bronze medalist Danell Leyva of Miami/Team Hilton HHonors (Universal Gymnastics), have been honored by Forbes and 'LLERO, respectively. Douglas was named one of Forbes' 30 Under 30 in Sports, while Leyva was honored as one of 'LLERO's Men of the Year for 2012.

Douglas, a member of The Fierce Five℠ that won the Olympic team gold medal in London, made history at the 2012 Olympic Games becoming just the fourth U.S. woman to win the all-around gold medal. In 2012, Douglas won the U.S. title on the uneven bars and the silver medal in the all-around. She also won the U.S. Olympic Trials – Gymnastics, securing an automatic berth to the U.S. Olympic team.

Leyva enjoyed considerable success in 2012. Last year, he won the American Cup, as well as the U.S. Olympic Trials all-around title, which earned him a spot on the U.S. Olympic team. At the Olympics, Leyva won the bronze medal in the all-around and qualified for the horizontal bar final. Leyva will look to defend his American Cup title later this year on March 2 in Worcester, Mass.
