Earnest, Powder nominated for USOC's Team of the Month

Dakota Earnest of Plains, Texas/Acrospirits, and Alicia Powder of Ladera Ranch, Calif./World Elite Gymnastics are nominated for the U.S. Olympic Committee's Team of the Month for their performance at the World Cup Loule, Portugal on Sept. 8. Fans can vote until 3 p.m. ET by clicking here.

Earnest and Powder earned the silver medal for synchronized trampoline at the 2012 World Cup of Trampoline, which took place Sept. 7-8 in Loule, Portugal. Earnest also advanced to the final for trampoline, where she finished sixth. The pair scored a 43.800, missing out on gold by 3.100 points. The finish was a two-slot jump from their fourth-place qualification score of 80.800.
