The first inaugural W400 Coaches Certification Course took place recently at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Huntsville, Texas. This course is designed for coaches looking to gain knowledge and strong basics to train JO athletes Level 8-10.

The coaches were put through a "boot camp" with lectures and hands-on training with athletes for three days. Our National Coaching Staff headed by Steve Rybacki with Tammy Biggs and Mary Lee Tracy led the coaches through their lectures and training sessions.

All 26 of the attending coaches passed the course earning them the certification of a J.O. National Team Coach.

Gymnasts participated in training twice-a-day, similar to our national team who trains at the same location. They were able to find time for some fun, including 'Minute to Win It!" games for prizes and enjoy the pool. Each gymnast was given a commemorative Olympic pin, the same ones the Fierce Five℠, traded with the athletes in London
