Faces In The Gym - August 2012
 Analee Whiddon, 13 years old from Springfield, Ga., competes on the Islands YMCA competitive team in Savannah, Ga. Anna topped off her first competitive gymnastics season with a 1st place all around finish at both state competition and YMCA nationals competition in Milwaukee, Wis., for USAG senior Level 3. Her nationals scores were 9.6 bars, 9.6 beam, 9.675 floor, and 9.850 vault for an all around score of 38.725. |
 Isolina Acevedo is a 13 year-old, straight A student from Morris, Ill. She is a Level 8 and is beginning her 4th year as a competitive gymnast. in 2010 she placed 2nd in State as a Level 4. Isolina was the Level 5 Illinois State Champion in her age group in 2011. This past April she placed 2nd in the Level 7 Illinois State Championship. She is coached by Brian and Sari Engle of Gymnastics X-Calibur in Coal City, Ill. |
