Faces In The Gym - May 2011
 Angel Nunnery, 11 years old from Broadview, Ill., is a Level 6 gymnast at Legacy Elite Gymnastics. Angel is the Level 6 vault, bars and all-around state champion in the Junior C Age group. She and her teammates also took first place as a team at the Illinois State meet. Angel is coached by Eliza Statkus-Nicolau, Ryan Wiser, Mieko Lindner and Kelly Cloughley.

 Kailee Ahrens, 10 years old from Las Vegas, Nev., was crowned the 2011 Level 6 Nevada State Gymnastics All-Around Champion. Kailee not only outscored her age division, but also outscored all of the other 62 Level 6 competitors in Nevada receiving a score of 38.05. Kailee was also the Level 4 Nevada State Champion in 2009. She trains at Desert Gymcats with her coach Jessie Stokely-Spruell.

 Lyndi Lou from Universal Gymnastics in Hilliard, Ohio, celebrates her one year birthday in the gym doing bars! Lyndi Lou is owned by Region 5 Regional Chair Bobbi Montanari.

 Kaitlyn Grimes, 8 years old from LaGrange, Ill., is a Level 5 and trains at Balance Institute of Gymnastics. At the Illinois State Meet she received second place in the all-around (37.4) and two first places in Beam and Vault. She's coached by Matt Delk, Kara Gagan and Jessica Lyn Tario.

 Richard Mays, from GYMTEX in Sugar Land, Texas, is the champion of rings and floor exercise at the 2011 South Texas State for Level 4, 6-year-olds. Richard also took second place on vault and in the all-around for a total of seven medals at South State. Richard is coached by Christina Zhou.

 Grace and Anna Glenn, identical twin sisters from Charlotte, N.C., took first and second in the all-around at the Level 9 Eastern Nationals in the Jr. 3 division. This is normal for these 13 year-old twins. They finished 1-2 in the all-around at the Region 8 Championship and first and third at the NC State Championship. They are coached by Ludmilla Shobe at Southeastern Gymnastics since they were 2 years old.

 Landon Wu, 7 years old from West Sacramento, Calif., is the 2011 Level 5 Region 1 All-Around Champion with a score of 92.6 for his age group. He won pommel horse, floor, parallel bars, rings, and was second on high bar, and fifth on vault. Landon trains with Coach Oleg Ibyadullin at the International Gymnastics Centre.

 Madison Faz, 9 years old from Montclair, Va., won the 2011 Level 5 Virginia State Championship All-Around with a score of 38.575. In 2010 Madison also was the All-Around Champion in the Level 4 Virginia State Championship. Madison trains out of Apollo Gymnastics and is coached by Byron and Emily Halliburton.

 Morgan Garrett, 7 years old from Katy, Texas, is the 2010 Texas South State Champion for Level 4. Morgan trains at Champion Gymnastics in Katy,Texas and is coached by Claire Milne.
