Faces In The Gym - February 2011
 At this year's New Jersey Level 5 State Championship held January 22, 2011, Olivia Garvin tied the State Record for 9 year olds on Floor Exercise with a 9.7. Olivia trains at Head Over Heels in Middletown, NJ and is coached by Ashley Palamara and Andrea Mlynar.

 Pictured are Josie Amidei, 12, Sara Rossman, 13, and Taylor Shanahan, 11. The three girls are competing Level 7 for the Gymnastics Spot. This picture was taken at the 30th St Valentine's Classic. All three girls medaled and Sara and Josie were third in the all-around in their age groups. The girls are coached by Michell Merz, Norbert Bendixen and Kim Walczynski.

 Berkeley Chandler, 10 years old from Alpharetta, Ga., trains with Team Northwind and is coached by former Olympic gymnast and World Champion, Elena Piskun, and former USSR Junior National Team Member, Inesa Sharouskaya. Berkeley competed in her Level 6 State Championship and won first in the all-around with a score of 36.525. She also placed first on vault with a 9.575 and first on beam with a 9.275. Further, Berkeley competed in all four events for Team Northwind in team finals, and she scored a 37.625 all-around in team finals!

 Jacqueline Swick, 9 years old from East Windsor, N.J., is a Level 5 gymnast and competed at the Classic Rock Invitational, Feb. 18-20, in Phoenix. She placed first on each event and in the all-around with a score of 38.100. Jackie is also the current New Jersey State Level 5 (8 year old Sr.) floor and bars champion. She is coached by Vassili and Tamara Iakimenko at Arena Gymnastics.
