Faces In The Gym - November 2010
 Kevin Portofee, 10 years old from Norwich, Conn., is the Level 4 2010 Connecticut State Champion on rings, floor and in the all-around with a score of 89.40. He trains at Thames Valley Gymnastics and is coached by Ryan Spanich. He won the most dedicated gymnast award at International Gymnastics Camp during week 4 in 2010 and met Justin Spring and Shayla Worley.

 The Azarian Gymnastics compulsory girls' team earned four team trophies at the 2010 Southern California South State Championships. The girls also captured 26 first place medals, including seven first place all-around medals. The Azarian Team Girls are coached by Perry Davies, Vanessa Gonzalez, Ivan Nguyen, Erika Purtell, Krassi Varvanova, and Brice Myers.

 Amalya Knapp, 7 years old from Englewood, N.J., competed as a Level 4 at Precision, Ready Set Go, Go for the Gold, and Turkey Tumble. She won first place in the all-around in these meets, winning medals in all four events. She trains at US Gym.
