The Gymnastics Plus Men's Gymnastics Level 4-5 teams ended the season as the state champions. The teams were led by head coach Steve Arkell and assistant coach Nick Madera. Both the Level 4 and 5 men's teams boasted several state champions from the meet.
Level 4 state champions included: Adler Bain, FX, HB, PH and AA; Zachary Dietz, HB, PH and AA; Tyler Henne, FX, PB; Bradley Mormile, PB and SR; and Matthew Mormile, PH and SR. Level 5 state champions included: Paxton Peacock, FX, PB, PH, and AA; and Dagon Womack, VT. Jason Abreu, 8 years old from Miami, Fla., trains at Florida Gymnastics Training Center in Miami. Jason competed at the Florida Men's State Championship Level 4. He won first place in the all-around, first place on vault, and first place on floor. He's trained by coach Jorge Valdez.

Maia Steigerwalt, 11 years old from Anderson, Ind., is a Level 7 gymnast for Anderson Gymnastics and is coached by Jeremy DeBertrand and Misty Carpenter. Maia participated in the nationwide Circle of Stars meet held this past February. She had her best meet placing first on floor with a 9.525, first on beam with a 9.3, first in the all-around with a 37.3, second on bars with a 9.175 and third on vault with a 9.3.

Brayden Battavio, 6 years old from Bridgeton, N.J., is the New Jersey Level 4 Novice State Champion. Brayden won bars, beam, floor and the all-around title at the State Championships with a score of 37.825. Brayden trains at Star Bound Gymnastics Academy and is coached by Lisa Battavio, Lori Rieger,and Clint Carroll. She's training for Level 5 and testing for TOPs.

On March 6, six-year-old Landon Wu, Level 4, won first place in all six individual events plus the all- around title to become the 2010 Northern California State Champion with a 93.10 for his age group.. Landon trains under Coach Oleg Ibyadullin at the International Gymnastics Centre in West Sacramento.

Donnevun Banks, 8, won the Level 5 (age 8-9) Indiana all-around state title, placing first on floor, pommel horse, rings, and high bar. He's coached by Gennadii Samsonov. Donnevun's sister De'Stassja Banks, 7, won the Level 4 (age 6-7) all-around state title, placing first on beam. She's coached by Gennadii and Svetlana Samsonova.
