Faces In The Gym - Jan. 2009
 Kodi Bengston, a 7 year old Level 5, was the all-around Wisconsin state champion for 2008 with a score of 36.25. She received 1st place on floor and vault and 2nd place on beam and bars. She was also the all-around Wisconsin state champion in 2007, age 6, Level 4. She received 1st place on floor and beam and 3rd place on bars and vault. She trains at Swiss Turners Gymnastics Academy in West Allis, Wisc., and is coached by Amy Ciocarelli and Tatiana Belanovski. |
 Natalie Aaron, 8, is the 2008 Oregon All-Around State Champion in the Level 5 Child A division. Her score of 37.65 was third in all age divisions. She placed first on bars and vault and second on floor and beam. She trains at Sunburst Gymnastics under head coach Denise Nontavarnit. The Sunburst Level 5 and Level 6 teams also won first place at State. |
 Ashley Barrish, 10, is the Level 6 New Jersey State champion in the All Around in 2009 for the 10-year-old juniors. She is currently training for Level 7 at Will-moor Gymnastics in Mt. Laurel, N.J. Ashley placed first on floor with a 9.425, first on Beam with a 9.55, second on vault with a 9.825. Her All-Around score is a 37.65. Will-moor Gymnastics also won 1st place team for Level 6 2009. |
