Kate Miller competed on bars at the Zone 1 Championships. Kate is 10 years old and a first year level 5 gymnast. She put in her best performance of the year at the Zone meet and qualified for her first State Championships. She competes for Davis Diamonds and is coached by James Major and Hilde Aune.

On November 15, 2009, the girls gymnastics team at Roswell Parks won the title of State Champions. Roswell Gymnastics is part of the Roswell Recreation Department. Cindy Furman, coordinator of the program could not be more proud of the 20 gymnasts and 4 coaches on the Level 6 team who brought the title home. “We are very proud of our level 6 girls and the recognition that they have brought to our program. “

The Level 4 Team from Gymnastics Beat in Fresno, Calif., are the new reigning Zone 9 Champions held in Visalia on November 7, 2009. The 10 members team are Carissa Carey, Kerrington Jennings, Addisson Jones, Anais Lambert, Allison Matsumura, Geraldine Pizarro, Lauren Ray, Kiana Smith, Kamyrn Sorrick and Logan Vincent.

In her first year of competition 8-year-old Giana Costa earned her way to State Finals and placed second in the Level 4 floor exercise event with a score of 9.40. She also medaled in every event landing an overall score of 36.3. Contributing to her stellar rookie season were her coaches Cindy Pacheco and Nadia Zhidkov from Olympic Gymnastics in Laguna Hills.

Jaclyn Mayer, 10, is the Level 5 2009 New Jersey State All-around and Floor Exercise Champion. She scored 9.65(4th) on vault; 9.6 (2nd) bars; 9.45 (3rd) beam; and 9.65 (1st) floor. Jaclyn also broke the state record and set a new one with an all-around score of 38.35. She is currently competing Level 6 at Go For The Gold Gymnastics.

Alexandra Mayer, 12, is the Level 7 New Jersey State Floor Exercise and Vault Champion scoring a 9.6 on each. She placed 6th on bars and 8th All-around. Alex is currently training Level 8 at Go For The Gold Gymnastics.

Amy Lopez, 9, from GymStars Modesto in California, scored a NorCal Level 5 State meet record high of 9.925 on bars in November. She also claimed first on vault and second all-around with a 37.55 in her first season of Level 5. Amy is coached by Ashley Miller, Nichole Mayer and Holly Thomas.

Sade' Poteat, 9, from Shelby, N.C., competed Nov. 7 in a Level 3 meet and scored a 36.80 in her first ever competition. The next week she was taught the Level 4 routines and one week later qualified to state as a Level 4. Three weeks later she competed in the state meet and scored a 36.2 and placed ninth. She is one of the hardest working gymnasts her coach has taught in 30 years. She trains at Lake Norman Gymnastic Academy and is coached by Meredith Kistner and Mindy Weber.

Phantom Gymnastics recently won all three compulsory state titles at the New Hampshire State meet on Dec 6, 2009. The Level 5 and 6 teams won for the second time in a row and the Level 4 team took its third State title. The club was established just four years ago in June of 2006. The compulsory gymnasts are coached by Cathie Lowell (owner), Heather Lacharite, Chris Wachowiak and Kristie Miller.
