Hannah Ranney, a level 7 at Oregon Gymnastics Academy in Beaverton, Ore., won the all-around title at the 2009 Oregon State Championship with a score of 37.875. She also placed first on vault, bars and floor with a third place finish on beam. She topped off her individual event scores with a 9.7 on floor. Hannah is coached by Matt Zollitsch, Kristin Wemm and Brittany Dean.

Hallie Fowler 5, recently won the level 3 Wisconsin State Championships with a 38.6 all-around score, placing first on floor (9.7), bars (9.5), and beam (9.6), and second on vault (9.8). Hallie has been doing gymnastics since she was a baby. She trains at Wildcard Gymnastics, under the coaching of Alie Fowler and Amy Grining.

Alaina Kosto, 8, is a Level 7 gymnast from Cutting Edge Gymnastics. She trains 21 hours a week at the gym and wishes she could go more! Even though she is usually in a tough age group of 11 and under she medals quite often. She most recently placed first on floor and second on beam. Her highest scores at Level 7 were 9.525 on floor and a 9.450 on beam.

Laura Barrios, 8, swept the 2009 Louisiana State Championships as a Level 5, earning first place in all four events and the all-around (38.10) in the 7-8 year old division. Laura is now training for Level 6 at North Shore Center for Artistic Gymnastics in Mandeville, La. Her coaches are Cay Clesi, Minnie Nunez, James Guidry, and Bruce McGartlin.

Tuvana Isildar, 10, is a member of the Level 4 Team at Somerton School of Gymnastics. She finished her competitive season by winning the all-around title at the 2009 Blue Ridge Gymnastics Association League Championships with a score of 36.525. She also placed first on beam (9.5), and vault (9.325), with second place on floor (9.15) and third place on bars (8.55). Tuvana is currently training to be a Level 5 and is coached by Lauren Hofmann and Liz Dalton.

Kynadi Lane is the Tennessee State Champion for Level 3, 6-year-old division. She scored a 9.85 on bars, 9.60 on vault, 9.60 on beam and 9.625 on floor for an all-around score of 38.675. She trains at East Tennessee Cheer & Gymnastics and her coaches are Danny and Angie Taylor.

Taylor Styer from Will-Moor Gymnastics won the NJ State Title for boys, Level 5, 9 year olds with a 89.50 all-around score and also won first place on floor, rings, and high bar. He finished third at the Boys Region VII Championship with an all-around total of a 90.0 and also came in first place on floor and high bar. Taylor is pictured with Coach Tyrone Elam.

Meagan Booth, a Level 8 gymnast, trains at Aerial Gymnastics. She had arthoscopic surgery on her elbow last August. She made a return to gymnastics in January and qualified to state. At Illionis State Championship, Meagan took first place all-around with a score of 37.425. She also finished first on beam and bars. Meagan's coaches are Don McPherson, Patrice McPherson, and Jeanie Johnson.

Acacia Fossum, 10, is a Level 8 gymnast. She just finished won the all-around at State Meet. She also won bars with a 9.375, was third on beam and floor, and fourth on vault. She trains at Dickinson Gymnastics Club with coach Kent VanElls. She is training for the upcoming Regionals.

Amanda Falsetta is a Level 5 Gymnast at All Stars Gymnastics in New York. In the 2008 Level 4 Team Cup she got a 9.050 on vault, an 8.900 on floor, an 8.275 on bars and a 8.300 on beam, for an all-around total of 34.275. She placed fifth on vault out of 85 people. He favorite events are beam and floor.

Alicia Doerr, 15, is a Level 8 at Perpetual Motion Gymnastics. She ended her 2009 season at the Region IV Championships with a first place on bars, floor and in the all-around. At the Minnesota State meet she placed second on beam and floor and fourth place in the all-around. In 2008, as a Level 7, Alicia took first place on bars at State and in the all-around.
