What was the best part of your trip to Italy?
Aly: "The best part of my trip to Italy was winning team and all-around titles. It was really an amazing feeling and it's something I will never forget. It was so much fun getting to know my teammates and we all had so much fun together. We are such great friends and so supportive of each other. The last day we went sightseeing in Venice and it was so much fun."

What was it like to win the team gold medal?
Aly: "Winning the team gold was really special and the competition was really fun. We had been training so hard and we all felt so confident and ready for the meet. The girls and the coaches were all screaming and cheering which made everything so much better because it was great to know that we were all supporting each other no matter what. It was my first senior team competition so it was exciting for me to be out there representing the U.S.

"Winning my first international all-around title was so exciting and it was so amazing standing on the podium. It is definitely a moment I will never forget. It was such an honor being chosen to compete and I was just happy to be out there. "

What was your best event and why?
Aly: "My best event was vault because I got my highest score in competition ever. I got a 15.150 with a Yurchenko double twist. I had the highest score in the meet and I won a Murano vase."

How long were you gone?
Aly: "I was in Texas for five days. On the fifth day we left for Italy and we were there for about a week.

"The time difference wasn't a big deal for me. I didn't have trouble sleeping in the night. I think I was so tired from the training camp and the long plane ride that I just slept and I didn't care what time it was. The food was the same. I had fish almost every day because that's mostly what they made. I usually don't eat fish that much but I was fine eating it. The equipment was not a problem for all of us to adjust. I actually have the Gymnova vault table at my gym so it was the exact same for me. We had been using the bars in Texas so we were already used to them. The competition bars were less bouncy then the ones at the ranch so we were all happy about that. The beam was harder than I was used to but it wasn't a big deal. The floor I thought was good and it was a little weird because it was white and I had never used a floor other than red or blue before. I was happy that the floor wasn't really bouncy or too hard.

Did you buy any cool souvenirs? If so, what did you bring home?
Aly: "On Sunday we got to go shopping which was so much fun. All the girls were getting so much stuff. I got sweatshirts, shirts, pins, key chains, and masks."

What else did you get to see/do?
Aly: "We went sightseeing on Sunday, our last day. We went to the glass factory and it was really interesting and fun to see how they make the glass. They gave us 50% off of anything we wanted to buy. I bought a little frog and turtle. We also walked around Venice and went shopping. We took so many pictures and we had an awesome time."

How did you deal with schoolwork while you were on your trip?
Aly: "When I am at the ranch or an assignment I don't really have time to do school work because when I am not training I am sleeping or resting. It's really hard to find time because we are so busy the whole day, we have double sessions of gymnastics every day. I got done most of my homework on the plane and the night that I got home. When I got home my teachers were supportive and very nice about everything."

Who did you room with?
Aly: "I roomed with Morgan Smith."

What is your next competition?
Aly: "I am not sure about my next competition. I am just trying to take everything one step at a time."

What was the best part of your trip to Italy?
Mackenzie: "The best part of the Italy trip was standing on the first place podium after the competition when we won the team award. The city was beautiful and I had a great time bonding with the girls."

How long were you gone?
Mackenzie: "We were gone for about 10 days all together. We had selection camp before we left for Italy for 4 days and then we went to Italy for 6 days."

What adjustments did you have traveling and competing in Italy?
Mackenzie: "There was a big time change adjustment. It was about seven hours ahead of what the time is here in Chicago. How did you deal with schoolwork while you were on your trip?
Kytra: "I only missed the week of school when I was at camp. I had to e-mail my test and classwork due to final grade deadline. My spring break was the week after, where I spent some of it in Italy."

Who did you room with?
Kytra: "Mackenzie Caquatto"

What is your next competition?
Kytra: "CoverGirl Classic"

Morgan: "It was so exciting to win team gold! It was an amazing feeling to win after all of our hard work."

How long were you gone?
Morgan: "We were gone a total of 12 days including camp and the Italy trip."

What adjustments did you have traveling and competing in Italy?
Morgan: "We had to get our time straight when we got there because there were no clocks in our hotel room. A couple of the girls had a blackberry, which had the correct time. The time difference was five hours later until the last two days, which changed to six hours later because of daylight savings time. We had to get used to the equipment in the gym very quickly so we could clean up our routines as much as possible."

Did you buy any cool souvenirs?
Morgan: "On our sightseeing day we went to an island called Murano, which has a famous glass making factory. We got to see how they were made and then we were able to buy some items. What else did you get to see/do on your sightseeing day?
Morgan: "We went to an island called Murano to see a famous glass making factory where they burn sand and make vases, chandeliers, and other really cool items. Then we went to see Venice and go shopping. We had a guide, but we didn't see anything too specific except for a famous bridge that was really pretty. In Morano we got to visit a glass factory and it was amazing....they made a vase and a glass horse. The man made a glass horse in less than two minutes. The best part was that they did all of this right in front of us."

How did you deal with schoolwork while you were on your trip?
Sabrina: "It was challenging with our schedule to rest and do school work in between the practices. I did as much work as I could on the plane rides."

Who did you room with?

What is your next competition?
