Junior Olympic Development Coach Certification Requirements:

The Junior Olympic Development Coach Certification focuses on educating coaches with gymnasts who are at the pre-team and/or beginning compulsory levels (levels 1-4). The courses required for this certification enhances coaching skills and strengthens training techniques for gymnasts at the previously stated levels.

Course Requirements:

• You must be Instructor Certified
• U101: Safety & Risk Management
• U102: First Aid
• T200: Trampoline & Tumbling Development Coaches Course (Level 1)
• T201: Trampoline & Tumbling Development Coaches Course: Hands on Training (Level 1)
• T202: Understanding Scoring - Available 1/2013*
  **This course will be requirement as of 1/2013
  If all other requirements are met prior to 1/2013 then certification is awarded. All requirements after 1/2013 will include the * course.

And either

• One (1) Elective chosen from the following courses:
  • U310: Regional Congress
  • U410: National Congress
  • T310: Jumpstart Team Camp
  • T311: Olympic Development Program Team Camp
  • T312: Camp Wakeshma
  • T313: Trampoline & Tumbling National Team Camp
  • T314: Trampoline & Tumbling Elite Academy
  • T315: Trampoline & Tumbling State Clinic - See your State website for details
  • T316: Trampoline & Tumbling Regional Clinic - See your Regional website for details
• OR
  • Two (2) electives from any courses offered by USA Gymnastics University:
