Career HighlightsTomita's parents, Yoichi and Setsuko, are gym owners and he has two sisters. He is looking toward some sort of international business career that offers him the opportunity to travel. He enjoys basketball, golf, playing poker and participating in various community service and outreach programs. Surgeries kept him out of the last quadrennium and he had shoulder surgery in the spring of 2006. He has his sights on an Olympic gold medal.
