Jennifer is the oldest of three daughters of Ed (business manager) and Tammy (gymnastics coach) Carow. Both of her sisters, Nicole and Kristen, are competitive gymnasts as well; Nicole also competes in basketball. She has a 4.0 GPA at Wisconsin Lutheran High School, where her favorite subject is chemistry. She has also participated in ice skating and track and field and has set the high jump record for her grade school.
