AIRPORTS: Houston Intercontinental* (IAH) - NT/JONT
Houston Hobby (HOU) - is another local airport
ACCOMMODATIONS: Please note that all athletes and coaches must stay at the Karolyi ranch.

USA Gymnastics will make the room assignments for all athletes and coaches. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be provided at the ranch.

APPAREL: National Team and JONT athletes and coaches are encouraged to wear their USA warm-ups. Appropriate training and competition attire is required at all times.
PARENTS: Parents are not allowed to stay at the camp for any reason.

TRAINING GROUPS: Click here for the pre-selection training groups. Post-selection training groups will be determined once the team is named.
WHAT TO BRING: The Karolyi Gymnastics Camp is just that, a gymnastics camp. It is located 70 miles north of Houston Intercontinental Airport in the middle of the Sam Houston National Forest. Athletes and coaches should plan to bring the following items:
  • Although linens are provided, you may prefer to have an extra blanket, pillow or larger towel. If so, you will need to bring those items.
  • Toiletries such as soap, shampoo, toothpaste, etc.
  • It may get cold at night, therefore athletes should have a jacket for the evening.
  • Shoes you can wear outside (rain boots if you prefer)
  • Flashlight
  • Alarm clock
  • Hair dryer, if needed
  • Remember, we are in the middle of the Sam Houston National Forest, bring bug spray.
  • There is no gift shop, therefore, there is no need to bring a great deal of money.
  • Non-perishable snacks and drinks that you will want during training and throughout the weekend.
GROUND TRANSPORTATION: For those groups whose travel was arranged through NTS, ground transportation will be provided to and from the airport. Ground transportation instructions will be provided by email to coaches.

CLINICIANS: Ivaylo Katsov
A former World Championships medalist and Master of Sport from Bulgaria, Ivaylo is now coaching at Mid-America Acro Tumbling and Trampoline in Owensville, MO. Ivaylo is the Chair of the National Elite Committee and has placed athletes on the national team and international competition delegations.

Arthur Davis
Arthur Davis is the first ever and two time World Champion for Acrobatic Gymnastics, USAG Hall of Fame member, and six time National Champion. With over 15 years of choreographic experience, he has created acts and routines for Acrobatic Gymnastics, Ice Skating, Dance, Cirque du Soleil, and numerous performance entertainment companies. His routines have won Gold medals internationally, multiple National titles, have been featured in special events around the world, and on National television. Arthur has performed and choreographed for America's Got Talent, Dancing With the Stars, Stars on Ice, So You Think You Can Dance Australia, the Today Show, and four NBC Ice Skating and Gymnastics Spectaculars. Arthur's focus for this clinic is to combine fresh, creative inspiration, with the technical structure of acrobatic competitive guidelines, to create beauty and success for the athletes, coaches, facilitators, and organization.

Tonya Case
Tonya Case has coached numerous National Champions and International medalists and is currently FIG Acrobatic Gymnastics TC President.
